Technical — what we look at on a Porsche

After a crash: body first, then the mechanical side.

A Porsche that has been hit often needs more than panels. Here is how the two divisions split the work.

Questions— Porsche owners ask

Asked by owners.

Do I go to Gold Coast Collision Center or PorscheWorks?
If the car was hit or needs paint, start with Gold Coast Collision Center. If it needs service, diagnostics, brakes or a pre-purchase inspection, book PorscheWorks. Same building, same phone number, same lifetime warranty.
Do I have to use the Porsche dealer's body shop?
No. We push for genuine Porsche parts, keep a full photo record of the repair, and the work carries a lifetime warranty.
Will a collision repair here affect my Porsche warranty?
Not by itself. Under federal law a manufacturer can't void your warranty only because an independent shop did the work. Correct parts and good records are what protect you, and you get both.
Can you fix the mechanical damage from the crash too?
Yes. PorscheWorks, our mechanical division, is in the same building. Cooling, suspension, steering and electrical damage from the collision is repaired under the same lifetime warranty.
What warranty do I get?
A lifetime warranty on all work, collision and mechanical. You get the written terms with your estimate.
Estimate — send photos

Send us photos of the damage.

Three photos from a few feet back and one close-up is enough to start. We'll call you back with a straight read on what it needs.
